Nicki Sheard, VP Brand Marketing at King, is responsible for leading all above the line marketing, licensing and merchandising, player insight, PR, social media and brand creative for some of the world’s leading casual game franchises including Candy Crush and Farm Heroes.
Sheard joined King in 2014, bringing more than 15 years of brand experience to the company. She joined from the BBC where she was Head of Marketing for BBC Radio and responsible for leading brand strategy across the radio portfolio. Sheard led many of the BBC’s major launches including iPlayer radio.
Prior to the BBC, Sheard was a consultant at McKinsey where she focused on consumer goods and retail, advising private and public organisations on strategy, marketing and organisational design. Sheard’s career began at Procter & Gamble, working primarily across CEEMEA markets
